Program

Day 1:

On the first day of the tour you will visit one of the most revered Orthodox monasteries – the Trinity-Sergius Laurel, located in a small town called Sergiev Posad. Here is buried one of the greatest saints of the Russian land the venerable Sergius of Radonezh. The monastery has several cathedrals and churches on its territory, which jointly create a deeply historical image. After excursion and lunch you will be transferred to Vladimir. Dinner and overnight in Vladimir.

Day 2:

The morning of the next day will start with a visit to an extraordinary beautiful Church of Pokrov –on-Nerl at Bogolyubovo. This graceful monument of early Russian culture was built more than 800 years ago. In the afternoon, you will return to Vladimir, where after the lunch you will start a tour around the city. The main attractions here are the Golden Gates and the Uspensky and Dmitrievsky Cathedrals, first of which has preserved the paintings of Andrey Rublev.

Day 3:

The third day of your trip will acquaint you with a small, cozy and extremely old town of Souzdal, which will very soon celebrate its 1000-th birthday. Despite its size, Souzdal has 57 cathedrals, churches and monasteries. You’ll visit Kremlin and the wondering museum of wooden architecture. After the lunch and some free time, you will be ready to return to Moscow.
