We will start with Kolomenskoe Estate. It is proven, that human settlements appeared here more than a thousand years ago. At some moment, the Russian tsars became the owners of this land, and because of them, you are now able to see some beautiful old architectural gems on the territory of this picturesque park. The Wooden Palace of Alexey Mikhailovich Romanov, located here, can tell you a lot about the life and habits of the tsars. Another estate that you will visit is the Tsaritsino. The palace and structures here are designed in a unique mix of gothic and old Russian styles. It is an interesting and highly impressive place.
Day 5:
There are about 1000 monasteries in Russia. But only two of them bear the honorary title of laurel (or Lavra). Only large, most significant monasteries that have played a significant role in history can be called this way. In our country, this status has the Alexander Nevsky Lavra of St. Petersburg and the famous Trinity-Sergiev Lavra - near Moscow, in the city of Sergiev Posad. We invite you to go on a fascinating journey through the pearl of the Golden Ring - Sergiev Posad and its environs. In this ancient city, there are hundreds of preserved monuments of architecture and history, dozens of temples, museums and other unique attractions. Trinity-Sergiev Lavra is an architectural complex that is included into the UNESCO World Heritage Sites List. The monastery, located in the very center of Sergiev Posad, on the banks of the Konchura River, was built around 1340. At different points in history, the laurel was a real support of the people and the authorities, and also played an important role in the socio-political life of the country.
