The collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery currently consists of more than 180,000 works of art. This includes painting, graphics, sculpture, decorative art, icons. Of the most famous masters, whose canvases are presented in the gallery's collection, it is necessary to note the icon painter Andrei Rublev and outstanding Russian artists: Vasnetsov, Shishkin, Savrasov, Repin, Surikov, Vrubel, Roerich, Levitan and many others.
