Immerse in the magic of Russia on this 6-day / 5-night trip to Moscow. After a guided introduction to the city, that incorporates a tour of Moscow metro and a walking tour by the most popular street – the Arbat, you'll have organized visits to most essential tourist sites of the city, such as: 550-year old Moscow Kremlin and its treasure vault – the Armory Chamber; another precious collection - the Tretyakov Gallery – source of the greatest Russian paintings; and the Kolomenskoye Estate – the palace of the early Russian Monarchs. There is also a free day in this program, that gives an opportunity to complete your Moscow experience with any activity that you prefer.
Day 1:
Arrival at Moscow. Transfer to the hotel on clients own. Organized transfer can be ordered as a supplement to this tour.
Day 2:
You will dedicate your first day in Moscow to the extensive exploration of the city: by car, by feet, and even from the underground! The driving panoramic tour starts the day and shows you the best tourist locations of Russian capital. After about 3 hours, you will let your driver go and continue the journey in the Moscow metro. You’ll see unbelievably richly decorated public stations of the metro, set in Stalin's times. Next part of your tour is a walking tour – discover the cozy old Arbat and feel the magic of old Moscow.
Day 3:
Today, you will visit the heart of Moscow and the whole Russia – the great old Moscow Kremlin. Behind the red brick walls, you’ll see the sacred cathedral square, remembering the feet and voice of all Russian tsars. It is a great place to make really memorable photos. After admiring the antique Russian architecture, you will visit the exhibition of the royal treasures of Russia – the Armory Chamber, filled with artifacts of gold and precious gems. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 4:
We will start this day with a visit to an old historical estate – the Kolomenskoye. It belonged to Russian tsars for several hundred years. The contemporaries called the Wooden Palace of Alexey Mikhailovich Romanov located here, a world wonder. There are several temples and buildings that were built in XVI and XVII centuries on the territory of the estate. The last point of our route for today is the Tretyakov Gallery. Started from two paintings in a private collection, it had grown and developed into the biggest and best collection of Russian paintings in the world.
Day 5:
This day has no special program. You can spend it according to your own plan.
Day 6:
Today is the final day of your visit to Russia. You can order an organized transfer to Moscow airport, or get there on your own. Enjoy a safe way home and keep the memories about Russia with you!
