The program of this tour is designed to cover all of the main tourist sites of St. Petersburg. With our professional tour guide and driver you will see and visit everything that is mostly associated with St. Petersburg among the tourists. Starting from the regular panoramic excursion, your itinerary includes five most important cathedrals: St. Isaac, Saviour-on-Blood, Petropavlovsky, Smolny and Naval Cathedral in Kronstadt; and five most luxurious palaces: Winter Palace, Yusupov Palace, Catherine’s Palace in Pushkin, Paul’s Palace in Pavlovsk and the Grand Palace in Peterhof. But this is not all - there are two more days in your travel plan plan, which you can use to visit even more museums, suitable to your interests.

Program

Day 1: St. Petersburg
Arrival in St. Petersburg. Meeting with your tour guide at the point of arrival. Transfer to the hotel on an air conditioned car or minibus.

Day 2: St. Petersburg
On your first morning in St. Petersburg, after the hotel breakfast, you will meet your guide and driver and depart for the half-day sightseeing tour. This city tour gives an opportunity to see many interesting places and make acquaintance with the historical layout of St. Petersburg. You will make stops at various picturesque places to make some really memorable photos. After the driving tour, you will visit the Peter-and-Paul Fortress - a place where the city had started more than 300 years ago. The Petropavlovsky cathedral inside the fortress is also a Family Crypt of the Romanovs royal family. The day continues with a visit to the State Hermitage museum. A huge complex, consisting of five buildings, for a long time was the residence of the Russian Tsars, and now, it is one of the greatest art museums of the world - a must see for every educated human.

Day 3: St. Petersburg
Today, you will continue the exploration of the beautiful Northern city. You will visit two religious buildings, each of which is a piece of art - the Saviour-on-Blood Cathedral and the St. Isaac Cathedral. First of them attracts your attention by its unusual pseudo-russian style and unimaginable 7 sq. kilometers of mosaics inside, and the second is just a world wonder - supported by 48 supermassive columns of granite and decorated with more than 40 sorts of semi-precious stones from inside, the St. Isaac is also an owner of the 5th biggest cupola in the world. The third object of today, the Yusupov Palace is also a great place to learn about russian history. Here, in this luxurious interiors, the richest family of royal Russia had planned and executed a murder of the tsar’s favourite - the misterious monk - Grigory Rasputin.

Day 4: St. Petersburg
The third day of your journey invites outside St.Petersburg. A small and cozy town Pushkin was recently known as the Tsars Village. Here, you will visit the residence of the three russian empresses - the Catherine's Palace. Among its incredibly rich baroque interiors, there is a room that became a legend - the Amber Room. A nearby town of Pavlovsk was the favourite place of another russian emperor - Paul the 1st. Paul was an admirer of Classicism style, and built his palace according to its concepts. The lovely park of Pavlovsk is known as a biggest palace park in Europe, and it has some pretty architectural objects to show to you.

Day 5: St. Petersburg
One more day in St. Petersburg and one more astonishing adventure outside the city. We will drive by the St. Petersburg Dam - the construction that defends the city from regular floods and firstly arrive at the town of Kronshtadt - the all-time base of the russian Navy. Kronshtadt was a secret object and was opened for tourists just 25 years ago. There are several building that remain here from the times of Peter the Great. The Naval cathedral of Kronshtadt is an architectural dominant of the town and is worth a visit. Further on, we continue to the next stop - the unbelievably beautiful Grand Palace and Park of Peterhof. The fountain system of the park counts 150 objects and 4 cascades. The Grand Cascade in front of the Grand Palace just fascinates the imagination. And the Grand Palace itself is a great example of Russian Baroque style.

Days 6 & 7: St. Petersburg

Day 8: St. Petersburg
Today is the final day of your visit to St. Petersburg. Our driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and transfer to St. Petersburg airport Pulkovo. Enjoy a safe way home and keep the memories about Russia with you!
