The main residence of the russian tsars for more than 200 years will never leave you indifferent. Its interiors and art collections are truly fascinating.

Day 3: St. Petersburg
This new day of your journey will take you out of the city, to a couple of small cozy towns, both having something to impress your imagination. Catherine's Palace in Pushkin shows you the luxurious russian baroque style, and the Amber Room is a precious gem in its anphilades. The Palace of Emperor Paul in Pavlovsk is situated just 15 minutes of drive from Pushkin. Its building is a true essence of Russian Classicism style and also, a clear example of antagonism between children and parents in the royal families.
