Excursion to Tsarskoe Selo (Pushkin) is one of the most popular excursions among the guests of St. Petersburg. Here, in a lovely small suburb of St. Petersburg you should definitely visit the luxurious Catherine Palace with the Amber Room, take a walk in the Catherine Park, which is beautiful at any time of the year and enjoy the magnificent architecture, created by the geniuses of Rastrelli, Cameron, Stasov. On the way to the city of Pushkin (about 1 hour), our guide will tell you about the sights that you will meet on our way. You will learn the history of the famous satellite city of St. Petersburg, the world famous palace and park ensemble, the former imperial residence. In Tsarskoye Selo you will visit the Catherine Palace and the park with a guided tour (total time 2 hours). You will see the famous Baroque architecture by the architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli, walk through the enfilades and halls of the palace, accompanied by a guide's story, get acquainted with the works of art presented in the palace. And, of course, you will go to the world famous Amber Room, the history of which is full of twists and turns and secrets - the guide will tell you about them. Catherine Park is notable for the fact that it is filled with pavilions and sculptures, many of which appeared here in the times of Peter the Great, has both French and English parts, and is unusually picturesque. The program includes free time (40-50 minutes), during which you can walk in the park, buy nice memorabilia and have a snack (lunch is not included in the tour price). Local souvenirs are sold in Lyceisky Lane, which is adjacent to the palace, and there is also a cafe here.
